Everyone is welcome! People interested in organizing events for the wider public are particularly encouraged to attend. Free drinks (or food) from Bao Bar.

MEETING TOPICS
At this meeting we can start with introductions and a summary or general discussion on Effective Altruism (EA). I'll be curious to know: how did you hear about EA? How has it changed your viewpoint or actions? What arguments do you find most compelling? Any reservations?
If there is interest this will be followed by a more in-depth discussion on a joint vision and goal for the group.

DETAILS ON MEETING SPACE/TIME
Chinatown Square: Look for the table with the Effective Altruism sign

Location: 1016 Race Street (between 11th and 10th) next to Dim Sum Garden

Public Transportation: Near Jefferson Station, 11th Street MFL station, Race/Vine BSL station and many bus stops on Market/Arch and 10th/11th.

Food type: Several food stands within Chinatown square including japanese, cambodian, mexican/korean, curry, bao buns, falafel and more.

Date/Time: May 1st, from 7PM until we finish (if you can't make it please let me know!)

Free drinks: At Bao Bar, 2 per person up to 20 people! Replaceable for certain food items.
