Early Morning Palatine Riding Group

Hi friends!

For the Saturday, 4/18/26 ride, we’ll do the Haeger’s Bend, Church, and Chapel loop. It’s one of my favorite loops to ride from Palatine, and certainly there are many ways to get there. The route we’ll take affords glancing views 🤣 of:

1. Cuba Marsh
2. Thomas White Memorial Cemetery
3. That unique mansion on the corner of Spring Creek & Braeburn (if you know, you know)
4. A swamp
5. Another cemetery
6. Some farm animals
7. A golf course or two
8. Barrington High School

Then we’ll get some tasty grinds at Conscious Cup in downtown Barrington.

Weather permitting (some showers currently in the forecast), the ride will be:

Total elevation = 1,109 feet
Coffee stop @ mile 27
Est. ride duration with coffee stop = 3 hours
