DIY Witch Ball

A Witch Ball is a hollow glass sphere filled with herbs, crystals, sticks, stones, spices, flower petals, etc…

A Witch Ball is used to protect the home. Traditionally hung in east facing windows, near the front door or in trees around the entrance of the home to ward off evil or negative spirits, hexes, and bad luck.
Within their colorful, captivating interior negative spirits are held.

Another use is to avert the evil eye by attracting the gaze of an eye, therefore preventing harm to the home & its inhabitants.

Originating in 17-18th century England, these orbs acted as an early form of spiritual home security. Once the malevolent energy is captured inside, the morning sun hits the glass & daylight safely dissipates the trapped energy.
Come join me at Earthe Energe on Saturday June 13th from 10:30 to 12:30 to create your own personalized Witch Ball.

Materials will be provided, however you will want to bring any special small charms, stones, crystals, dried flowers, etc…that you feel drawn to adding to your Witch Ball.
