To witches, wind chimes are tools for home protection, energy cleansing, & spirit communication. Chimes are used as an auditory barrier to break up stagnant, negative energy, & invite harmonious vibrations into your space.
The sharp, clear tone of the chimes is believed to startle & repel negative energies. Hanging them at front doors or windows will create an energetic threshold.
While some may use smoke from herbs to reset energy, witches will use frequency & vibration of chimes.
