East Bay Gay Men's Hiking Group

Since 2012, the East Bay Gay Men’s Hiking Group has been getting like-minded gay men who happen to enjoy the outdoors out onto local trails for fresh air, good views, and easygoing company.

EBGMHG is not about heroic mountaineering, but solid hikes, fun companionship, a bit of adventurous exploring, and on occasion, socializing afterwards over food and drink. Nothing beats the fresh air, the spectacular landscape and views, and making new friends!

This is a volunteer-run group, with no set schedule — hikes are posted when time and interest allow. A $5 annual fee helps offset Meetup costs and supports keeping the group active. Some outings may involve parking or park entry fees, so plan accordingly.

Anyone interested in helping organize hikes is encouraged to reach out. More hands always make things easier!
