About us
Let's be honest — making friends as adults is hard. You go to work, come home, and your social circle is basically your coworkers and maybe a few friends you've known forever. If you're Iranian and living in the East Bay, you probably know exactly what I mean — there are plenty of us around, but somehow we never actually meet.
We're a couple living in El Cerrito and we started this group because we were tired of that. We just want to find good people nearby — people to have a kebab with, sit around and talk, laugh, and actually enjoy spending time together. Nothing fancy, nothing formal. Just real friendships.
We host simple get-togethers — backyard BBQs, potlucks and maybe a game night here and there. Our place isn't big or fancy, but it's warm and the food is good and that's what matters.
If you're in El Cerrito, Berkeley, Albany, Richmond, or anywhere nearby and you've been thinking "I wish I had more Iranian friends around here" — that's exactly why we made this. Come hang out.
