Work sucks, it’s freezing. What’s the best way to spend after-work hours? Upon popular request for evening activity to wind down at, early birds meet at Lyon Street Steps for a stroll down Presidio Ave, then close the night at Family Billiards for craft beer, pool playing, and spectating SF’s longest-running 9-ball tournament.

You know the drill: dress warm (it's cold as hell), come loose.

The Route:

  1. Lyon Street Steps (meet at ~6:00 PM)
  2. Walk down Presidio Ave and vibe
  3. End at Family Billiards for their Tuesday 9-ball tournament (~6:30 PM)

About Family Billiards: SF’s oldest pool hall, maintained like new. 17 high-quality Brunswick and Diamond tables. Made for genuine billiard lovers and casuals alike.

What’s 9-Ball? You must hit the lowest-numbered ball first on every shot, but you win by legally pocketing the 9-ball anytime - even early via combination. Watch and learn.

All pool skill levels and curiosity levels welcome. Plan subject to change if we feel like it.

See you all after work💻
