Marina District to North Beach Photo Walk
Details
After the Red Bull F1 event last weekend I roamed around the Marina, crushed some pasta, and wandered inside a camera shop just to LOOK at some things. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I walked out with a new lens.
Guilt tripped by my Apple Watch for not exercising enough, but also wanting to test out the new lens, I decided to walk back to my car parked in North Beach.
What should have been a brisk 2 mile walk turned into a multi-hour photo shoot. There were so many cool views of the city skyline, narrow streets, Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, North Beach, hills, stairs, dimly illuminated buildings, etc.
I actually filled up the rest of my memory card with tons of awesome photos and realized this route would be great for a photo walk.
If you have a tripod and a camera, I HIGHLY recommend bringing them. Just trust me.
Once we get to North Beach, we'll figure out the dinner situation. Afterwards we can hit up Harlan Records which is one of my favorite cocktail bars in the city. Immaculate cocktails and house music on vinyl. Its going to be a great vibe.
