Alcoa Greenway (Clayton Homes Branch) 5K/10K Fri., February 20th, 9:00/10:00am

What: Join ETW for the Alcoa Greenway (Clayton Homes Branch) 5K/10K. This is a relatively easy walk on a paved greenway along Pistol Creek. We will have two different length walks. The 10K (6.2 mile) walk starts at 9:00am and the shorter 5K (3.1 mile) walk will start at 10:00am. Optional lunches following our walks will be at Hatcher's on Target BBQ or Hot Stone Pizza, both on N Wright Road.

When: Friday, February 20th, 2026. Walker registration at 8:45am for the 10K and 9:45 for the 5K at the Springbrook Recreation Center.

Where: We will meet at the Springbrook Recreation Center, 1537 Dalton St., Alcoa, 37701. Look for the "Neon Green Shirts", as we will be your guides for this walk. Lunch locations: Hatcher's on Target BBQ, 1366 N Wright Rd, and Hot Stone Pizza, 1313 N Wright Rd.

Registration: This is an American Volkssport Association (AVA) sanctioned club walk sponsored by the East Tennessee Wanderers and we have a modest $3.00 fee per walker to cover sanctioning fees and insurance costs payable at the registration table. Try to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.

Dogs are allowed on this walk.
