Concord Park East 5K/10K Walk in the Woods w/ETW - Sat. July 25th, 9:00/10:00am

What: Join the East Tennessee Wanderers for a walk in the woods at Concord Park East, Knoxville, TN. We will have both a 10K (6.2 mile) and a 5K (3.1 mile) walk in the woods. We will also plan to have an optional lunch at the Lakeside Tavern following our walks for those who are interested.

When: The 10K walkers leave at 9:00am and the 5K group will leave at 10:00am on Saturday,July 25th, 2026. This is an American Volksport Association (AVA) sanctioned club walk and we have a modest $3.00 fee per walker to cover sanctioning fees and insurance costs. Try to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for registration.

Where: We will meet in the parking lot next to the Concord Dog Park at 10909 S. Northshore Drive, Knoxville, TN, 37922. Look for the "Neon Green Shirts", as we will be your guides for this walk.

Details: The walk is on dirt trails with moderate elevation changes. Some people may wish to bring walking sticks for a few sections that have uneven ground. AVA ranking would be a 3C.

Pets are allowed on the walk (but not at the Lakeside Tavern for lunch).
