What we’re about
We are one of the longest-standing meditation Meetup groups in the valley. We meet every Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. to reflect on Buddha's core teachings and meditation practices. Every session includes guided meditation and mentoring to improve your spiritual journey to inner peace.
Our friend NT Hettigei, who has practiced meditation for over 50 years, shares his firsthand experience of Buddha's Core Teaching of The Four Noble Truths. He is the author of Explore Within: A Journey to Inner Peace and Beyond Our Self-Image: The True Story of a Fictional Character and the founder of Ancientpath.org.
This in-person meetup at the Arizona International Buddhist Meditation Center (AIBMC) is free, and you may donate to the temple. If you would like to subscribe to our mailing list, please email us at admin@ancientpath.org to receive updates on special events.
The AIBMC Meditation Center looks like a regular house but is, in fact, a Buddhist temple. There is a hall at the back of the temple (where you'll see the Buddha statue in this meetup cover photo) where we meditate. To enter, please proceed through the carport on the left side of the temple. The door to this hall is on the back left (southwest) side of the building, under the carport. Parking is available curbside or in the church parking lot across the street.
