About us
EastBayChessClub advances the fun, friendship, community and friendly competition around chess. All are welcome to our chess events, women and girls are especially encouraged. We play chess, give chess lessons (public or private), usually have snacks and gifts on-hand for kids. A major part of our goal is to "Make Oakland Better".
