Hike Briones

Greetings all my next hike will be at Briones park starting from Bear Creek Staging area. Hike will be just under 5 miles, 4.94 if I added all the little numbers right. It will be largely unshaded with an elevation gain/loss of about 600 feet. It could also be warm so come prepared for that. Bring you cameras as well for some great vistas. To get there take the 24 to the Orinda exit and go North on Camino Pablo to Bear Creek Rd and Turn Right. Keep going until you see the big sign, ( about 7 ft wide and 3 ft high) on the right, if heading north, left if heading south. Drive past the closed toll booth to the large dirt lot on the right and park there. Trailhead is there. Hope to see you there. Norman
