Hike Diablo Foothills

Greetings all my next hike will be to Diablo Foothills. It will be a loop hike
of 5 miles. Elevation gain/loss will be about 400 feet. Two thirds of the
trail is in the open, meaning no shade, wear a broad rim hat. It is also
going to be October it could be chilly, watch the weather accordingly.
Weather.com is predicting a high of 80 degrees for the day with a
low of 48 for the day. Figure some where around 60 when we start the
hike. Great Scenery so bring your cameras, as well as water and
trail snacks/lunch. To get there take the 680 get off at Ygnacio Valley Rd.
If heading south on the 680 get off on South bound North Main Street
head south to Ygnacio Valley Rd. Head East on Ygnacio Valley Rd to
Walnut AVE, (NOT!! Blvd), and turn right. Take Walnut AVE to the traffic
circle and exit it onto Castle Rock Rd. It will be the first exit from the
traffic circle. Castle Rock Rd ends at the parking lot with the trailhead.
Park there. I will be there with the sign saying EAST BAY Hikers.
