Hike Anthony Chabot Regional Park

Greetings all my next hike will be Anthony Chabot Regional Park. We will start from Bort Meadow staging area. Parking lot is small so carpooling would be helpful. Great Vista from the top of Cottontail trail. Trail is mostly shaded on the way back, partly so at the start up to about halfway through. Hike will be 4.9 miles in length, with about 300 feet elevation gain/loss. Weather.com has a 30 day prediction that the temp will be a high of 68. We will see. To get there the 13 to Joaquin Miller RD. Joaquin Miller Rd becomes Skyline. Take Skyline to Redwood Rd. Turn Left. Stay on Redwood Rd, You will after a while see a small sign on the right that says "Bort Meadow Staging Area" take the next right and park there. Trailhead is there. Bring water trail snack/lunch, hat, sunscreen, light jacket. Hope to see you there. Norman
