Sketching @ Preservation Park in August

Join in the sketchy fun somewhere fabulous...group choice gave us three good options, so we're starting with the first on the list:
Preservation Park in Oakland! (Architecture! Cityscapes!)

At the meetup...

The general flow is this:

• We'll meet at 1:00 and kick off with a group warm-up activity, then spread out and sketch some cool stuff.

• At 3:30 pm we'll meet back at the starting point for group gallery and feedback.

• Feel free to stay after and sketch more.

Notes:

Materials: Bring your own favorite materials: pencils, paper, paints, pens. Also recommended: stool or chair, hat, sunscreen, a snack and water.

Transit: Public transit is often available, and carpooling recommended. * If you're interested in carpooling, post a message here and we'll coordinate rides to make parking easier.

To get to Preservation Park via BART: take BART to 12th St. Oakland City Center. Then walk up 12th Street for 3 1/2 blocks (long city blocks.)
