Belgrave to Emerald: 23KM, 650m elevation gain (Hard / Adventurous), Bus return
Belgrave, Main Road, AUJoin us this Sunday for an adventurous hike from Belgrave to Emerald, taking in the beautiful Alfred Nicholas Gardens along the way. We’ll return to Belgrave by bus (don’t forget your Myki card).
Please note: this hike includes several sections on badly marked and overgrown tracks, plus a couple of improvised creek crossings—hence the additional “adventurous” rating.
After the walk, we’d love for you to join us for a meal and Open Mic session at the Belgrave Hotel.

Fitness Level
A good level of fitness and the ability to maintain a good steady pace is required to complete this hike.
What to bring:- 2-3 litres of water
- snacks and lunch
- proper hiking boots/shoes
- rain/wind/sun protection clothing and SPF50 sunscreen
- personal first aid kit.

Daylesford Goldfields track: 17km 450m elevation gain (Optional camping, swim)
Lake Daylesford Car Park, 2 Leggatt St, Daylesford , AUExperience this return 17km walk from Daylesford lake to the blow hole (see picture above). This walk follows the Dry diggings walk that forms part of the greater 58km Daylesford to Castlemaine walk. There will be a number of river crossings with the chance for a swim under the blow hole (bring a towel, change rooms will be behind any appropriate rock or tree) before returning back to Daylesford for the the traditional coffee and cake.

The organizers will be camping on the Friday and Saturday night at Mt Franklin (Lalgambuk) camping area and invite you to join use. This is a beautiful free camping ground within the core of an extinct volcano. It has a toilet block, however no showers. The camping ground can not be booked. It maybe / will be cold at night, hence please come prepared. Fires are allowed.If you intend to camp, please indicate so within the comments i.e. "I will be camping" , so that we can attempt to secure a large enough camp site.

Wilsons Prom 3 days / 2 nights camping
Wilsons Promontory National Park, Tidal River, Victoria, Victoria, AUWilsons Promontory National Park, often more simply known as Wilsons Prom or ‘The Prom’, is a spectacular peninsula full of dreamy beaches, wonderful wildlife, picturesque coastal walks and even some of the best hiking trails found in Victoria, Australia.
In its entirety, Wilsons Prom covers an area of around 50,000 hectares (500 square kilometers). So, there’s plenty to explore whether that be taking to as many of the excellent Wilsons Prom hiking trails as possible and spotting the local wildlife out in force as you go, or simply just relaxing on some of Australia’s finest beaches. Certainly, the hardest part of your visit will be summoning the effort to leave.You will need to book your own accommodation/camping site for this trip. The organizers will be on campsite 188 & 189. Each site can accommodate 2 tents

Itinerary to be finalized, however presently as follows:
Day 1: Friday - Tidal River to Mount Bishop / Lilly Pilly Gully circuit return - Distance Approx. 13km Elevation gain: 450m (Medium)
3:00pm Campsite 188Day 2: Saturday - Cotters lake to Tidal River (TBC) - Approx. 25km, Elevation gain: 600m (Hard)
This will require a car shuffle from Tidal River to Cotters lake.
This walk will include a short walk along the main road
8:30am, Campsite 188Day 3: Sunday - Telegraph Saddle - Oberon Bay - Tidal River - Approx. 18km (Challenging)
Shuttle bus to Telegraph Saddle from Tidal River visitors center.

This is a hard, grade 4 hike. You need to be in very good physical condition and have experience hiking off-trail.What to bring:
