# Churchill National Park and Lysterfield Lake loop (22.5 km)

This hike is "weather permitting" and will be postponed if the weather outlook on the day prior is poor (TBA).

This will be a circa 22.5 km hike, with approx 650 m elevation, Grade 3.5 (challenging).

Consisting of woodland and small areas of original forest, Churchill National Park is home to a large Eastern grey kangaroo and Swamp wallaby population. The park is a wonderful display of the original landscape before clearing and settlement.
With an abundance of peaceful walking tracks, as well as many jogging and riding tracks, you will likely spot some native wildlife as you venture through the park.
Churchill National Park is approximately 30 km south east of Melbourne CBD. Starting at Churchill National Park (near the covered BBQ area), we will make our way across to North Boundary Track, onto Lysterfield Hills Track and onto Quarry Track (bordering the park). We will then make our way through Boys Farm and loop around Lysterfield Lake, before making our way back via Granite Peak Trail.

Meeting Place
