About us
This is a group for polyamorous folks in eastern Iowa (primarily Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and surrounding communities), to provide a home for discussion and support for poly and poly-interested people.
This group is not intended as a way to get "hookups". (Not to say that such things couldn't still happen, but it's not our focus). I want everyone to feel welcome and be able to attend events without getting hit on all the time. If you're looking to find partners, okcupid.com is a great place to start (but still come to our meetups! Just leave the dating for the dating sites).
Note: I just changed the visibility of this group to "private". This way, only members can see who else is a member and details of the events, in case anyone is concerned about their privacy.
