Barefoot hike at Great Brook Farm

Come join us for a barefoot hike at Great Brook Farm State Park. We'll follow several trails around the farm and into the woods. This is a working classic New England farm centered within a large parcel of conservation land.

There are many nice trails to explore. Depending on how those in the group feel, we'll try to hike for two or three hours. After the hike we can visit the farm's ice cream stand to replenish vital calories which may have been lost along the route.

All are welcome. New barefooters should bring backup shoes. Instruction will be provided. Everyone should bring water and DEET tick repellant. Ticks are abundant and seem to be getting worse.

Meet in the parking lot at the parking ticket machine. Parking costs two dollars. Look for barefoot people.
