Get your feet wet and search for the tiny creatures who make the Skippack Creek their home. Learn with a Ranger what these critters tell us about creek health.
For grades K-5, legal guardians required, but they do not need to register. Walk to the creek is a 1/4 of a mile. Water shoes/socks required.

- Guided Bird WalkFort Washington State Park, Fort Washington, PA
Meeting Location: Militia Hill Hawk Watch, Lot-5, 447 Militia Hill Rd, Fort Washington, PA 19034
Militia Hill is an excellent birding spot located on the Atlantic Flyway. With a nice view of the Delaware Valley, and welcoming woods, songbirds and raptors can be seen year-around. Search for birds with a ranger and learn some things about their life histories.
Bring your own binoculars. Walk is 1 mile long, with moderate inclines.

The visitor center colonial herb garden is a great learning space for traditional herb gardening. Please, join the volunteers of Evansburg State Park in weeding and tending this interpretive resource.
We'll provide tools and gloves, so grab a trowel and lend a hand!
