Winter Tree ID Hike
High Rocks Parking Lot, 116 Tory Road ,, Pipersville, PA, US***Program Location: High Rocks Parking Lot, 150 Tory Rd., Pipersville, PA***
If you wander the woods in the winter & wonder about the trees you are seeing, then join us for a hike to learn about some of the more common trees in eastern PA! Along this ~2.5 mile hike, we will observe & identify 8+ native tree species. The elevation varies and the terrain can be uneven, with loose rocks and roots along the trail.
Please bring binoculars (not necessary, but helpful), water and wear sturdy footwear -- and if you have a favorite tree ID guide, bring that along too!
The hike may be cancelled or postponed in the event of inclement weather or hazardous driving conditions.
