***Meeting place at Tohickon Valley Park at 165 Cafferty Rd., Pipersville, PA 18947
***Registration is required.
For this year's weekend of the Great Backyard Bird Count, join a state park naturalist for a birding hike at Tohickon Valley County Park, where we will take in the diversity of birds present in winter and learn about the American Crow and other local corvids. This hike will be approximately 3 miles in length on rocky, sometimes steep terrain. Please wear layers for the weather and hiking-appropriate footwear. Limited binoculars will be available and participants may also bring their own. In the case of ice on the trail, limited micro-spikes and trekking poles will be available; if you have your own, you may bring them with you. Remember to bring water (or warm beverage of choice!) along with you. This program may be modified or cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
This is a rescheduled program. If you registered with the previous posting, you must RSVP again. New attendees also welcome!
