Meeting Location: Lot-#1- first right inside the park from gate at 6036 Joshua Rd, Fort Washington, PA 19034
Celebrate National Trails Day with a walk around Militia Hill's Low Density Area (LDA), with a park ranger. Hiking through secondary growth woods on the color-coded trails, this hike will be over 2 miles long. Terrian and trail is rough, with a moderate difficulty, so wear sturdy footwear.
This hike will also double as a Bio-Walk to help count observations for the DCNR June Bio-Blitz. So please have the iNaturalist app on your phone and ready to record.
