It’s June and a wonderful time for everyone to bird! Whether you are new or a pro, join state park staff for a walk on the Canal’s towpath beginning at Thompson-Neely House. While we will mostly focus on bluebirds for this walk, we anticipate spotting a beautiful variety of birds as we go. This program will have both English and Spanish instruction.
We will cover about 3 miles round trip on mostly flat ground. Please wear appropriate footwear for the distance, bring water and any snacks you may want, and wear sun protection. There will be a limited supply of binoculars available to borrow; participants may bring their own from home as well. ¡Ya es junio y el tiempo perfecto de observar las aves! Si es nuevo a aprender sobre las aves o tiene mucha experiencia, acompáñanos para un sendero en el camino de Delaware Canal. Vamos a empezar por la casa de Thompson-Neely y buscar para las aves. Enfocáramos en los azulejos pero esperamos a encontrar una variedad muy linda de los pájaros.
