Details
***Meeting at Wy Hit Tuk Park 510 PA-611, Williams Township, PA 18042***
***RSVP Required***
Limestone is one of the most informative and influential rocks found throughout Pennsylvania. From holding secrets of an ancient inland ocean to serving as a key ingredient for restoring PA soil year after year, learn about this fascinating rock with a state park naturalist on the Delaware Canal towpath.
We will cover about 3 miles round trip on flat but somewhat rocky ground while walking over a local limestone deposit by the scenic Delaware River. For this program, please bring water, sun protection, comfortable footwear for walking, and any snacks you may want. There are flush restrooms available by the parking lot. This program may be cancelled or modified in the case of inclement weather. For any questions, reach out to Annastasia Soto at [annsoto@pa.gov](mailto:annsoto@pa.gov).
