Bat Talk!

Mysterious and spooky and altogether ooky, bats are amazing creatures! Humans have lived alongside bats and have been fascinated by them for thousands of years. Come find out why and join a state park naturalist on an evening walk and talk! We’ll learn about bats, both science and folklore, while looking for them around Giving Pond recreation area.
This program will cover a walk of roughly 2 miles round trip on mostly flat ground. Please dress in layers for the cool evening weather and remember to bring any water and snacks that you may want. Participants should also wear comfortable shoes for walking. There is a porta-John on site in the parking lot. For any questions about this program, contact Annastasia Soto at annsoto@pa.gov .
