Recovering from an injury/surgery or getting back into hiking after a hiatus? Then join me for a short, easy paced, 4.5-mile RT hike at Mt Falcon Park. Halfway through we'll check out the Eagle Eye shelter for, hopefully, a nice view. And, closer to the end of the hike, maybe visit the Walker Home Ruins if participants have never seen it and are interested (only a tenth of a mile RT detour).
Meet at the west trailhead parking lot @ 8:15 am with boots on the trail at 8:30 am. Check out the trail route here: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/map/mt-falcon-park-west-th-short-hike-b65f2ec?u=i&sh=gih2zo
Be prepared for wet, muddy conditions depending on weather. We shouldn't need spikes but I'll notify everyone if this changes.
Bring water, sunscreen, eyewear, headwear, poles, snacks and/or whatever other gear you need.
Let me know in the Comments if anyone wants to bring a lunch and hang out at one of the nearby picnic shelters post hike.
