EDD1: Dilated Peoples

The Gist -

1. Please buy tickets yourself. I have links posted later in this post as well YouTube links to his more popular songs.
2. Please message in the chat when your ticket has been purchased.
3. We will meet for dinner at 5pm. Please be on time. If you are going to be more than 5 minutes late, please post in the chat or message me. Many people flake to these events so in order to keep it moving we would like to know who is actually coming.

After a few false starts, I realized that I need to pick only events that have General Admission or else we would still all be sitting apart from each other. Fortunately there are some great events coming up.

We will meet at Suzu Noodle House, a good ramen place in Japantown. This is a good and affordable ramen restaurant that also has other Japanese comfort food options. Here is their yelp page: https://www.yelp.com/biz/suzu-noodle-house-san-francisco

Dilated Peoples is a legendary hip hop trio consisting of Evidence, Rakaa Iriscience, and DJ Babu. They had many well-known rap songs in the early 2000s.

Eat Drink Dance
This is a new Meetup group trying to build a group of like-minded people who enjoy food music and community. The drinking is up to you.
In this group I will find new music, make new friends, and have fun. So get out of the house and meet some new people! I will be picking shows around the Bay Area - anything from underground hip hop, R&B, EDM/Trance, and of course indie & alternative rock. We will pick a restaurant (within walking distance of the show) to meet at, have dinner and drinks (if you drink), then slam a Red Bull and walk to the venue. And if anyone wants, we can have a nightcap drink after to talk about the show.

I am open to new artists and any suggestions. Ultimately I will pick whatever I like, but I started this group because I also love finding new music so I am easily convinced. But note I am trying to only pick shows that have a General Admission option so that we don’t need to get seats ahead of time and sit away from each other.
