Details
🌙✨ The Chic Night‑Walk of Quiet Chemistry for Singles
- Oscar Cooper Cafe→ QT Rooftop
- Next door (almost) to Prahran train station - Sandringham line
- Singles only 30–55
- No married or seperated individuals
- Thursday Evening
- 6:30 PM meet, 7:00 PM depart
💫 The Vibe:
A dark mysterious, atmospheric, gently flirtatious night‑walk for singles who appreciate elegance, subtlety, and the kind of slow‑burn social energy that only emerges under Melbourne’s evening lights.
Please note: This event is waitlisted.
I want a balanced gender mix, i.e even numbers of girls and guys. I have a creep code operating and event expectations around no shows, read on for how that works.
Just adults 30–55 who enjoy good company, good conversation, and the soft glamour of a city at dusk.
We begin at Oscar Cooper on Greville Street — a perfect pre‑amble spot for a bite, a drink, or simply a stylish rendezvous before stepping into the night.
🌌 The Route:
A Civilised Stroll Through Darkness & Beauty
A curated (but lightly chaotic) 5–6 km, 1 hour 15 min meander through some of Melbourne’s most atmospheric night‑time landscapes.
Expect:
- Fawkner Park in its dusky quiet — long avenues of shadow and soft silhouettes
- The Shrine precinct glowing like a sentinel over the city
- The NGV and its moody forecourt pools
- St Kilda Road’s Parisian stretch — elegant, tree‑lined, and cinematic at night
- A final ascent to the QT Rooftop, where the lights, the skyline, and the social energy all rise together
This walk is intentionally semi‑random — a curated drift through parks, gardens, boulevards, and pockets of beautiful silence. The kind of route where you might whisper “wow” without meaning to.
Optional micro‑detours may include:
- Transport Bar 🍺
- The NGV forecourt
- The Queen Victoria Gardens
- A spontaneous pause at any spot that feels too gorgeous to ignore

🚶♀️Fitness and etiquette
I like walking at a relaxed pace around 4+km/hr
It's a long walk, so make sure you can keep up and can make the distance
People who speed ahead aren't really welcome, find a speed walking group instead.
If you are too slow and dawdle you might be asked to leave, same goes with inappropriate behaviour.
Do not turn up un announced and not on the guest list, you will be asked to leave., Check ins will be performed.
No shows will likely be removed from the group. If you can't make it take yourself off the going list
💘 Flirtation Guidelines
This is a social event, not a pressure cooker.Don’t be pushy about phone numbers — let the moment offer itself
If the vibe is mutual, go for it
Become a regular — I’ll be testing this format over 3–4 events
You’ll likely see the same lovely humans again at future singles nights/events or Eat Drink Dance “open” events
The goal is to build a small, recurring ecosystem where people feel comfortable, familiar, and relaxed enough to be themselves.
👥Waitlist & Gender Ratios
To keep things balanced and comfortable:
Event capped at max 30 people to test interest,
Generally guys admitted only after a woman registers (to maintain ratios) at my discretion until the format matures. If you become a regular I'm not so discriminating as long as you behave yourself.
💁♀️ Female Privilege — Early Bird Advantage
If a woman messages the organiser after being added to “Going,” she may nominate someone from the guys waitlist — provided his communication fits the event’s social expectations. Discretion is assured👍
This means guys may be delayed entry.
Women can be a little flaky (we love them anyway), so I may accept 1–2 extra
🧭The Creep Code
A refined social compass keeps the vibe safe, fun, and drama‑free.
So: No married/seperated individuals or those already coupled up (generally)
No Tinder Swindler‑style minglers
Guys: Please Take Special Note
-
Must have a clear face photo (no sunglasses, no blurry shadows, no “mysterious man in witness protection”)
-
No wide shots taken from a distance where you can't be identified.
-
No yacht/car/jet flexing — if your profile screams “crypto‑adjacent”, you will be gently declined.
-
If you are declined, update your profile photo to something less creepy.
-
Girls: No restrictions — privacy and safety first”
⚠️ SMAL EVENT EXPECTATIONS ⚠️
⏰Late Arrivals
-
The event starts on time.
-
More than 15 minutes late without communication = No‑show
-
More than 30 minutes late (even with communication) = Not admitted = No Show
-
We do not endlessly wait at meeting points. If you’re late, you must find the group yourself.
Messages are not monitored after the start of the walk..
This protects the experience for people who arrive on time
👻 No‑Shows
No‑shows block waitlisted people from attending and disrupt small-group events.
Remove yourself at least 24 hours before the event.
No‑shows will likely be removed and blocked from the group.
Last‑minute cancellations (“flaking”) may also result in group removal, especially when there is a waitlist.
👀 Attending Without Being on the Going List
This is a security issue.
Do NOT turn up unannounced.
If you’re not on the Going list and haven’t arranged it with the organiser beforehand, you will be asked to leave.
Event check‑ins are performed.
