🌷 Bendigo Bloom: Public‑Holiday Festival Adventure (Singles 30+)
Friday 25 September — 9:00am to ~4:00pm
Return on the 4pm train
Max group: Around 12 (waitlist applies)

🌟 Event Overview
We’re taking advantage of the Grand Final Eve public holiday with a colourful, social, lightly chaotic day trip to Bendigo — the livelest day of the Bloom season. Expect artisan market stalls, live music, food trucks, peak tulip displays, and a crowd full of relaxed day‑trippers enjoying their long weekend.

This is not a rigid tour.
This is a set‑your‑own‑adventure festival day.

Please note: This event is waitlisted.
I want a balanced gender mix, i.e even numbers of girls and guys. I have event expectations around no shows, read on for how all this works..

I’ll be doing my own walking exploration of Bendigo — it’s my first time there, so I’ll be wandering through the tulip beds, heritage streets, Rosalind Park, and the festival zone at my own pace. You’re welcome to join me, peel off, regroup, or catch up later. Some people will stick together, some will roam, some will meet up again at the markets or even on the train home. You can exit at any point.

It’s relaxed, informal, and perfect for singles over 30 who enjoy low‑pressure socialising with plenty of freedom.

🚆 Travel Plan (Friday 25 September)
- Depart: Southern Cross at 9:00am
Meet at 8.45 at the big clock in the forecourt at Southern cross station. We'll head for the last carriage (maybe)

  • Travel time:~ 1 hour 50 minutes
  • Arrive Bendigo: ~10:50am
  • Walk to festival zone: 5–10 minutes
  • Explore: 11:00am → 4:00pm
  • Return train: 4:00pm Bendigo → Melbourne (arriving~ 5:50pm)

If people want to stay on and grab dinner in Bendigo and catch a later train this is an option, but I'll leave this open to negotiation on the day.

The train ride is a great warm‑up — gentle chats, easy introductions, and a relaxed start before the festival energy kicks in.

👣 Your Adventure Options
Each bullet begins with a Guided Link as required:

  • Join the walking exploration — wander Bendigo’s streets, tulip beds, and heritage corners.
  • Browse the market stalls — explore artisan makers and festival pop‑ups.
  • Follow the live music — drift toward whatever band or busker catches your ear.
  • Relax in Rosalind Park — picnic, chat, or people‑watch under the trees.
  • Form a micro group — pair off or cluster with others for part of the day.
  • Catch up later — reconnect at the festival or on the train home.
  • Exit any time — peel off whenever you like; no pressure, no schedule.

This is an exploratory trip — especially for me — and the whole day is designed to let you follow your curiosity.

⚠️Group Rules & Event Etiquette ⚠️
These are basic, commonsense standards that keep events safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone.

💘Flirtation Guidelines

This is a social event, not a pressure cooker. Don’t be pushy about phone numbers — let the moment offer itself
Don't send unsolicited messages; get in person permission first
If the vibe is mutual, go for it
Become a regular — I’ll be testing this format over 3–4 events
You’ll likely see the same lovely humans again at future singles nights/events or Eat Drink Dance “open” events

The goal is to build a small, recurring ecosystem where people feel comfortable, familiar, and relaxed enough to be themselves.

👩‍💼Time Constraints
If you’re on a tight schedule, this may not be the right event. Social activities rarely run exactly on time.

👥Waitlist & Gender Ratios
To keep things balanced and comfortable:
Event capped at 12 people to test interest; if my star signs are in favour, I may increase this to 20

Generally, guys admitted only after a woman registers (to maintain ratios) at my discretion. Group regulars get priority access.

Women can be a little flaky (we love them anyway), so I may accept 1–2 extra.

🧭The Creep Code
A refined social compass keeps the vibe safe, fun, and drama‑free
So: No married/Seperated individuals or those already coupled up (generally) unless I know you.
No Tinder Swindler‑style mingler

Guys: Please Take Special Note
Must have a clear face photo (no sunglasses, no blurry shadows, no “mysterious man in witness protection”
Don't send unsolicited messages, that's creep gold.

⚠️Don't obscure your identity in other words

No wide shots taken from a distance where you can't be identified
No yacht/car/jet flexing — if your profile screams “crypto‑adjacent”, you will be gently declined
If you are declined, update your profile photo to something less creepy and more class

Girls: No restrictions — privacy and safety first

⚠️CRITICAL EXPECTATIONS⚠️

😢No‑Shows
No‑shows block waitlisted people from attending and disrupt small-group events

***Remove yourself more than 24 hours before the event. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event when there is a waitlist will result in group removal and likely blocking

People on the waitlist require more than 24 hours' notice that they have been approved to attend.. Flaking within this time period prevents waitlist people from attending

No‑shows will be removed from the group
*Last‑minute cancellations (“flaking”) may also result in group removal, especially when there is a waitlist

👀 Attending Without Being on the Going List

This is a security issue
Do NOT turn up unannounced
If you’re not on the Going list and haven’t arranged it with the organiser beforehand, you will be asked to leave. Event check‑ins are performed

⏰ Late Arrival
If you’re late, the group will not wait

You will be marked as a No‑Show and removed from the group

Messages will not be monitored after the event starts

It’s your responsibility to communicate and catch up before the event starts—this may not be possible for some events as the organiser is busy organising

🎲Second Chances
If something goes wrong, communicate with the organiser.

Silence + poor behaviour = removal.
-* Communication + accountability = second chances.

As the organiser is busy organising, this may be impossible during the event

🚩Disclaimer: No Liability & Organiser Indemnity

By participating in this event, you acknowledge and accept full personal responsibility for your own safety, wellbeing, and belongings. The organiser assumes no liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during the activity. Participation is entirely at your own risk
