Short Hike on the MacDonald Trail (Anthony Chabot)

Details
This trip is limited to 20 participants. You must RSVP via Meetup to attend.
We will meet at 9:15 a.m. at the end of Parkridge Drive in Oakland, and plan to be back at the cars by 11:15 a.m.
The hike is along the MacDonald trail in search of spring wildflowers. We will see suncups, Warrior Plumes, Redmaids, poppies, and other interesting finds. We were on this trail earlier this year, and there is much to compare and contrast.
Trail distance is about two miles, with a moderate incline and lots of shade. Bring snacks, water, and layers.
The hike leader is Gary Keep. Gary is an avid native plant person, and can regale you with tales of the local history.
Masks are optional on this trip.
This group is sponsored by California Native Plant Society, East Bay Chapter. To find out more about the chapter or subscribe to our email newsletter, visit ebcnps.org.
