Fresh Air and Flowers in 2025: Spring Treasures of the East Bay Parks, Mondays
Details
Kevin Dixon, naturalist with the East Bay Regional Park District, will be leading a series of botanical hikes for our group on Mondays this spring.
The first hike will be in Huckleberry Botanic Preserve.
All botanical hikes will start at 9 am. Huckleberry is a more moderate hike, but all hikes are on trails and terrain which is uneven and may be challenging at times. Fellow lovers of all the green life out there should bring food (lunch and/or snacks) and enough liquids for hydration. Hand lenses are great to have, and binoculars are another good option, especially the close-focus ones. Make sure you are well protected from the sun.
