Join Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage (http://www.DancingRabbit.org/) founder Tony Sirna, for an evening of stories and photos, community and connection, inspiration and education, dinner and delights. Learn how a cohort of Stanford grads, after trying to build community in a group house in Berkeley, found a path to success in Rutledge, Missouri, beyond the reach of Bay Area real-estate prices and zoning restrictions/building codes. Discover the diversity of skills it took, how they created their own currency and governance systems, how they can live richly on less than $10,000 per person per year, using 10% of the water and energy of the typical American, and how they'll be getting even greener, more accessible, and more educational, with our help.
6:30 pm community-made dinner with people working to create the heart of a Berkeley Ecovillage (not a potluck, but BYOB)
7:30 - 9:00 pm slideshow presentation and discussion

Dancing Rabbit members have spent sixteen years seeking, discovering, and living practical solutions to the world’s problems. More than just a village, it offers a vision of an evolving culture living in harmony with the earth — a model and inspiration that can transform life everywhere — in major cities, small towns, and the developing world.
Subtract $5 if you will skip the yummy (un)common meal and just join us for the talk and slideshow at 7:30 sharp. EBCOHO Supporting Members (and members of Supporting Groups) save $5.
Please, no smoking onsite or animals in the Common House. This is not a tour -- please don't disturb our neighbors, park in the lot, or go wandering around the community. As you exit, please keep your voices down, as some of our little neighbors have early bedtimes.
