Remembering Joan Lichterman:Fighting the Good Fight film/talk (virtual)

In memory of longtime EBCOHO member, cohousing organizer and activist Joan Lichterman, who passed away in July, we're having a celebration of her life by way of film and discussion this afternoon.

As promised: The screening of a recent film about Joan’s amazing life. It runs 1.5 hours long and will be screened on Zoom on Saturday, Nov 14th, at 3pm California time. The film is a montage of photos of Joan’s life as an activist as well as various members of the party we held for her in December 2019 who are talking briefly and giving their personal tributes to Joan.

After the screening we will have time to talk and share our memories and feelings about Joan, whom we lost more than 3 months ago in July 2020. This is a way to remember Joan and celebrate her life, since we have not been able to hold an event in person.

For those who are unable to attend this screening, it’s possible we’ll be hosting another one in the new year.

We hope to see many of you for the film and discussion afterward.
