Ridiculous, Wacky, and Weird Games@ Double Standard / Oakland

Do you consider yourself a bit....out there? Odd, strange, do things a little different? Well, just as in life, games come in all shapes and sizes....and tonight were playing the strange, and weird, and silly ones. Games with interesting mechanics, settings, and all out hilarity!

We'll be returning to Double Standard in Oakland. You must present your ID to come in and must be over 21+. They allow outside food inside so feel free to grab a to-go dinner at one of the many neighboring places nearby.

Fernie will JISOGI: ANIME STUDIO TYCOON, in this incredibly unique tycoon-style worker placement game, players use Staff members to select from a range of available actions Their objective is to release an original Anime composed of 3 Script parts (Setting, Plot, and Twist). Whenever released, players will gain resources and points according to their popularity - determined by the technical level of the Anime and how many genre matches they have to rotating Trend cards. Justin will be hosting YOU KNOW IT! A trivia party game where, aside from trying to answer the questions right, you can get points by betting on how many of the group know the right answer, know knows the right answer and who doesn't know the right answer from a bunch of five questions.

Gabi will be hosting EPIC SPELL WARS OF THE BATTLE WIZARDS. In this truly ridiculous game you battle other wizards by combining hilarious NSFW themed cards that act as spell components. Each component also has a word associated with it. To cast your spell you must recite the hilarious random combination of words to cast your spell on the wizards you are battling. POTION EXPLOSION--- marble collecting game of exploding potions
CHRONONAUGHTS-- change time and history
FLUXX -- pure pure choas with rules changing each round
JENGA -- classic tension building game

**This meetup begins at 6 with games beginning roughly between 6:30 and 7. If you arrive after that, know that you may have to team up / wait for a new round of gaming to begin.
