What we’re about
Eccentric people are highly intelligent and can be quirky. Do you want to make new friends, enjoy delicious cuisine, laugh, etc.?? If so, this might be the group for you.
To me, being eccentric is more than just being 'different' or 'odd'. It's about being yourself. So, if you like great food and interesting people, give us a spin! We occasionally venture into other areas, yet almost always end up dining together somewhere.
We, most often, seek out unique/exotic restaurants and similar venues that promote enjoyable dining experiences, stimulating conversation and merriment all around!! What's unique or exotic to some may not be such for others, yet in the end, we all end up happy and well-fed! Cheers to dining together all around Central Florida!

We're headed back to Bubbakoo's Burritos for another amazing lunch in Lake Mary!! If you've not been, you can build your own or choose from a bunch of pre-designed, mouthwatering burritos and/or enjoy a burrito bowl, salad, nachos, etc. + alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
They enjoyed our group so much last time that they've invited us back with 10% off our purchases. Simply mention "I'm with the meetup group" when you order at the counter.

- Please honor your RSVP and show up if you select "Yes" (I'm attending). If you cannot make it after already RSVP'ing "Yes", simply change your RSVP to "No" online. That way, we can manage seating arrangements, and the restaurant can manage staff levels, etc.
- All are welcome and you can bring a guest or two (as long as you RSVP/register to attend accordingly).
- No worries if you're running a bit late, we're typically at a restaurant for at least one and no more than two hours.
- Feel free to call the restaurant, via (407) 708-3677, if you need assistance finding the place and/or have food allergies or preferences you want to run by them.
- Unique Uzbek & Turkish Cuisine at Chayhana in Altamonte Springs off SR-436Chayhana, Altamonte Springs, FL
We found ourselves a true gem in Altamonte Springs, called Chayhana. Their food, in a word, is exquisite! The staff are friendly and are delighted that our group will dine there the second Tuesday of August.
Join us for a memorable evening of unique and delicious foods, some great conversation, and lots of merriment. Oh, and if you like sweet beverages, get yourself some of their Cherry Compote. Speaking of sweet, their desserts are also phenomenal.
They're located in a strip mall about a block away from the intersection of SR-436 and SR-434 and almost next to the "PDQ" restaurant.
Menu Link - BTW, most items on the menu lack descriptions, yet you can look them up online to get a sense of what each dish is all about or you can ask the waitstaff the night of our meetup.
