What’s happening this Friday
4:00 - 6:00: Open House & Individual Spiritual Study
Feel free to stop by and visit. Hosts are available to answer questions, orient you to ECK books or materials, and give you a tour of our home in NYC. If you’re looking for a quiet moment to do a spiritual exercise, read a book, or maybe even meet with a friend, this is a great time to visit. It’s also a great time to learn more about Eckankar if you’ve got questions!

6:15 pm - 6:50pm Sound of Soul Event
You are invited to join others in chanting HU, an ancient mantra, for about twenty minutes, followed by a short time in contemplation. This will be followed by a spiritual discussion in which you are invited to share your spiritual experiences, ideas, and questions.

7:00 pm–8:15 pm: Discover Wisdom in the Video Talk, Lessons and Blessings, by Harold Klemp, the Living ECK Master from 1981–2025
ECK Video Night is a wonderful, relaxed, heart-centered evening in which we watch a special 30-minute edited version of a talk given at a major seminar. This Friday, the video-talk is given by the former Spiritual Leader of Eckankar, Harold Klemp. Afterwards, we enjoy a lively spiritual discussion on the themes and ideas presented in the video presentation.

In this video, ECK Master Harold Klemp explores karma, explaining that it is always our own doing—and that blessings and lessons often arrive together in the same experience. In one story, a student of Eckankar shares the HU with a friend and his daughter, both of whom struggle with sleep, while the father also carries a fear of death. The blessing unfolds as they begin sleeping more peacefully; the daughter experiences Soul Travel in her dreams, and the father starts to glimpse life beyond death. In a final account, another ECKist heeds an inner message from Spirit and is blessed by the Inner Master, narrowly avoiding a potential house fire.

8:15 pm–9:30 pm: Fellowship
Fellowship is your chance to meet with old friends, meet new ones, share stories, and laugh a lot. Sometimes these spontaneous moments are where the deepest connections and conversations happen. We might even have food too!
