- HU --- Our Lifeline to GodPete & Larry's, Bangor, ME
Singing HU has been practiced for thousands of years in one form or another for inner attunement. In the same way a musician can use a tuning fork to find the right pitch, the person singing HU tunes in to a higher spiritual awareness. HU is a carrier of Love between you and God.
Learn to go inside yourself, because this is the source of all truth. There are a lot of holy temples out here, but the most sacred of all is the temple inside you, because this is where you meet the Holy Spirit, the Voice of God.
Make a strong connection with Divine Spirit by singing HU. We will demonstrate how HU is sung. Participation is optional. HU is an ancient name for God. It is also a love song to God.

Join us this month for a spiritual discussion on the roles of both attachment and detachment in attaining our spiritual goals. This discussion is presented by ECKANKAR of Maine, and this month we explore these concepts drawn from chapter 28, Grasping God, Stranger by the River by Paul Twitchell. Divine Love is the greatest of all things so we are always seeking it and in the process learn more about grace, mercy, service and sacrifice. The outer illusions and desires begin to fade and disappear. We learn to live in greater joy and happiness.
