We went last summer and had such a blast...let's do it again??

Currimundi Lake is a GORGEOUS spot on the Sunshine Coast - an absolute must to visit this summer! It has the best of all worlds: a beautiful beach for those who like the waves, a completely calm lake for those who like stand up paddle boarding or floating in calm waters AND when the tide is right, a super fun current that you can tube down (as pictured, from a previous trip).

We'll start the day with a yoga class in the shady park by the beach. Please bring your own mat or towel and a water bottle. This is social yoga - plenty of good vibes and a relaxed atmosphere. The class is suitable for total newbies as well as more advanced students... I am a certified yoga teacher, specialising in outdoor classes. After yoga, we'll grab coffee/lunch at the cafe beside the park, before hitting the beach! Please bring an air pump and tubes if you own any. I can provide a few tubes and also a foot pump but trust me, you will want a tube of your own because they are so much fun!

Three options for payment and travel:

  1. NEED A LIFT, $25 - Paid in advance if you'd like a seat in the carpool. Must pay by Friday 27 November latest if you to wish to be included in this, to allow me time to arrange carpool.

  2. MEET THERE, $20 - Paid in advance if you want to make your own way there. Must pay by Friday 27 November to secure your spot.

  3. DRIVER, FREE - If you have a vehicle and are willing to take people in our group, you can attend for free! If this is you, please message me privately with your location, phone number and number of seats available ASAP. I will send these details privately, only to those who have paid, to organise the carpool. Please be dependable, if this is you! 😊

SCHEDULE
9am: One hour yoga class starts at Currimundi Lake. All levels welcome, including total newbies. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early, especially if it's your first class with me. Class will start on time to be finished before it gets too hot, and allow more time to enjoy the beach!

10.30am: Head to cafe for brunch/lunch.

11.30am: Free time to explore, hit the beach, go tubing/stand up paddle boarding (optional, if you have the gear), swim, etc.

3pm: Head back to Brisbane. This time can be flexible, depending on people's plans.
