Without drugs or alcohol express yourself. Sweat your prayers on the dance floor. Let it out and connect with yourself and with others in a fresh new way. Breathe deeply and ground your attention inwards. The invitation for this evening is to begin to quiet the mind and enter into your body temple, befriending all that you may find.

Ecstatic Dance/ Movement Meditation is an opportunity to find freedom in our own ability to feel and move with all that is and with everything that arises in our body, heart and mind! This practice encourages moving with a grounded body, focus, abandon, grace and ease.
There is no experience necessary, just a willingness to move and be moved!
Classes are facilitated by Seth Newman, Seth is an Art of Being© graduate, IATE Graduate, Bioenergetics practitioner, certified Trance Dance teacher and is the pioneer of live music ecstatic dance events in the UK, with his band the Urubu Collective. He brings a wealth of experience holding heart centred spaces.

WHAT IS "MY ECSTATIC ODYSSEY" ALL ABOUT?
My Ecstatic Odyssey is inspired by some of our summertime open-air Sunset ecstatic dances. There is something magical about a sunset or sunrise that takes us deep into "The Now". That mystical threshold between past and future, where the world starts to feel alive! We'll be channelling the spirit of Ibiza, Goa, and inspiring Sunset/Sunrises worldwide in this potent time of year.Come and dance to OPEN-UP, to release city stress, dance in more light and joy, and make new friends - all accompanied by a transformational euphoric & uplifting dance music set to connect us deeply with our dance, our hearts, and our creativity.
We'll be including delicious ceremonial grade cacao and a beautiful cacao ceremony/guided meditation facilitated by Seth to connect us with our body, our heart, and positive intention.

Hear the ancient pulse calling you into ritual..This is an invitation into a ritual practice/active meditation inward journey... a blindfolded, free-form movement experience.
In the dark, the mind quiets and the body becomes the guide. Breath, drums and different musics work together to shift you into a deeply aware state. In this space beyond self-consciousness, emotions can release, insight can arise, and a more instinctive, intuitive intelligence begins to move through you.Rooted in global shamanic traditions, this is a practice of embodied transformation, a dance to connect you to your own inner wisdom and the wisdom of the planet.
