Each Saturday night, we open the doors to a new sonic adventure, RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW, is an opportunity to set your body in motion to the activating and expowering sounds of EDM/Techno/Deep House
Every session is a unique genre-specific experience, yet all follow the same timeless flow, the ecstatic wave, a rise and return through the natural rhythms of our human energy: building from the cacao ceremony to the wild euphoric peak, then softening back into grounded peace and ending with a relaxation phase.

Ecstatic Dance London - pioneers of the UK Ecstatic Dance scene since 2009 - are thrilled to share our 16th My Ecstatic Odyssey. This is your sober Saturday night dance ritual: a freestyle movement journey, part rave, part meditation, part community unified experience.

What is My Ecstatic Odyssey?
Inspired by our summertime sunset open-air dances… because there’s something mystical about twilight: that threshold between day and night where the world feels extra alive, and we drop straight into The Now.
We’ll be channelling the spirit of Ibiza, Goa, and sunrise/sunset dancefloors worldwide, bringing warm, euphoric, uplifting energy into the heart of winter.

Come and dance to:
- Open up and shake off city stress
- Move in more lightness, joy, and freedom
- Drop into a deep, embodied journey through electronic dance music
- Meet new human dancing friends!

Cacao Ceremony (facilitated by Seth)
We’ll begin with ceremonial-grade cacao and a short guided meditation to connect with your body, your heart, and a positive intention for the journey.
No dance experience needed. All welcome.

Move however you wish • Respect yourself and others.
Zero-tolerance sober space: Please don’t arrive drunk or high — you may be refused entry or asked to leave. No refunds.

Warm-up: gentle stretch + landing + intention
The Journey: a full-spectrum DJ “sound wave” with some facilitation/guidance

You are warmly invited to join us for our freestyle, expressive dance & moving meditation sessions. This is a unique sober Saturday night dance in London!

WHAT IS "MY ECSTATIC ODYSSEY" ALL ABOUT?
My Ecstatic Odyssey is inspired by some of our summertime Open-air/Sunset ecstatic dances. There is something magical about a sunset or sunrise that takes us deep into The Now. That mystical threshold between past and future, where the world starts to feel alive!
We'll be channelling the spirit of Ibiza, Goa, and inspiring Sunset/Sunrises worldwide in this potent time of year.

Come and dance to OPEN-UP, to release city stress, dance in more light and joy, and make new friends - all accompanied by a transformational euphoric & uplifting dance music set to connect us deeply with our dance, our hearts, and our creativity.
We'll be including delicious ceremonial grade cacao and a beautiful cacao ceremony/guided meditation facilitated by Seth to connect us with our body, our heart, and positive intention.
No prior experience of dance necessary. All welcome.

Our Ecstatic Dance sessions have guidelines of: No booze, No Shoes, No phones, No Chit Chat, Move However You Wish, Respect yourself and others. (More info about what is Ecstatic Dance - further down)
No late comers please. This is a shared journey from the beginning to the end and we aim to create a safe container for all dancers. If you are more than 30 min late from the start of the session, unfortunately you won't be able to join the session, please respect this and arrive on time. Thank you

Why Connectival? And Why London Needs It
London is one of the most vibrant cities in the world, yet many of us feel disconnected, overstimulated, and yearning for genuine human connection.
Connectival, created and hosted by Ecstatic Dance London in collaboration with guest facilitators, is a response to that need.

This gathering (we plan to run this every month) offers practical tools for connection that you can take into everyday life through movement, presence, and authentic conversation. These practices foster deeper relationships with yourself and with others, particularly in a fast-paced city urban environment like our beloved London.

Held just after Valentine’s Day, Connectival widens the idea of love beyond romance into something more human and sustainable. Friendship - Community - Expression - Presence, and Belonging.

Connectival is rooted in consent, inclusivity, embodied awareness, and respect for boundaries.

This is a space to feel safe, welcome, and human.
In a city that rarely slows down, Connectival is an invitation to pause, move, and reconnect with yourself and with others.

What Is Connectival?
Connectival is a half-day embodied connection gathering bringing together:
• Guided embodiment and connection practices
• Authentic relating and verbal connection tools
• An extended ecstatic dance journey hosted by Ecstatic Dance London
• Sound journey for integration
• Spacious time to connect, rest, or simply be

All held in a warm, consent-led, agreements-based, connection-positive environment.

You are welcome to come alone, with friends, or with a partner.

The Journey & Schedule:
3:00–3:30pm | Arrival and Landing
Doors open, arrival, and settling into the space.
-Upstairs
LAND & GROUND: Non-verbal dance/ movement space - feel free to come stretch, move, sit in meditation, do yoga, or just lay on the ground and let the music wash over you.
-Downstairs
HANG OUT & CHAT: Space to leave bags/ jackets. Hang out, verbal & social space, chai & herbal teas

3:30pm | Doors Close
No entrance after 3:30pm to create a safe space for people at the event

3:30-4:30pm | Connectival OPENING CIRCLE
The container begins. We talk through the agreements, offer a consent-based mini-workshop and answer any questions.
4:40–5:40pm | Parallel Connection Workshops with guest facilitators TBC
Facilitated by experienced guest facilitators, to be announced.
-Upstairs
An embodied connection workshop exploring presence, awareness, and connection through movement. Optional touch may be offered and is always consent-based.
-Downstairs
An authentic relating workshop offering simple and practical communication and listening practices for real world connection.

5:45–7:30pm | ECSTATIC DANCE JOURNEY
A long-form ecstatic dance PLUS Cacao Ceremony held by Ecstatic Dance London.
Move freely, rest when you need, and express yourself in your own way.
Downstairs during the dance
A relaxed hangout space with tea and chai, space to chat or rest, a cuddle corner, and optional bodywork such as massage or reflexology, availability permitting.
7:30–7:45pm | Sound Journey
A grounding sound bath to integrate the dance and settle the nervous system.
7:45–8:00pm | Closing Circle
We come back together to land the experience as a group.
8–8:30pm | Open Connection and Social Time
Healthy snacks, herbal teas, conversation, and a gentle transition back into the evening.
