What we’re about
Ecstatic Dance San Diego is an alcohol-free, barefoot, free form dance event in San Diego. We dance to a wide variety of music that a live DJ spins for us (including world beat, classics, fusion, trance, house, etc). The Dance community was started almost twenty years ago as DanceJam San Diego and our community has been growing strong ever since. In June 2013 we transitioned to become Ecstatic Dance San Diego. You can learn more about this expanding worldwide community at Ecstaticdance.org. Our mission is to provide an open space where you can bring your authentic body out into the open, and simply move. You are welcome to come meet and dance with others or, you can simply come and do your own thing.
