Exploring Kafka support in Spring (Spring Kafka and Spring Cloud Stream)

Apache Kafka is gaining immense popularity for writing messaging and data-intensive applications. Spring Framework provides excellent first class support for writing applications using Kafka through its widely used abstractions. In these talks, we will show you how easy it is to integrate Kafka with various types of Spring applications.

Both Spring Kafka and Spring Cloud Stream are popular open source projects. Spring Kafka provides various Spring style abstractions for writing applications using Kafka. Spring Cloud Stream is a framework for writing data-driven microservices for various cloud platforms. We will explore some details about these technologies at the meetup.
