Purposes of Group 
·       To share ideas, resources, childcare experiences, fun, stories, strength and inspiration related parenthood. 
·       To meet, connect and have fun with other diverse families in our area!

1. Parents and expecting parents interested in meeting up in the Edgewater-Uptown-Andersonville area

Event Ideas
This is a new group, so I am open to ideas.  My current ideas for events include:

·       Walking by the Lake for expecting parents and parents with infants

·       Finding and attending local, free or low cost, outdoor events with our families (like  events hosted by Chicago Public Libraries, the Chicago Parks District, neighborhood garden walks, outdoor markets, local festivals, etc.), or areas (like Foster Beach, Montrose Beach, Hollywood Beach, parks and playgrounds like Berger Park in the area, Argyle Street) (weather permitting)

·       Picnicking by the Lake or in the parks with our families

·       As we learn more about pandemic precautions, finding and meeting for indoor local, free or low cost events

·       Meeting for kid clothing, equipment/stuff, toy and book swaps, alerting each other of relevant yard sales and deals in the area

·       Possible Zoom “get togethers” to share ideas
