About us
Science in recent decades has shown with little doubt that climate change is the biggest existential threat to humankind, and if we do not take action right now, we will be walking into a disaster with our eyes wide open. As the use of AI becomes more widespread, similar discussions are emerging around its own risks and responsibilities. Yet there is no reason why we cannot use AI for good. In particular, can we use to understand and mitigate the impact of climate change? This group is a place for AI and climate science practitioners to come together and discuss what we can do to make a difference, however small, and hopefully launch our own ventures.
