Edinburgh Culture Club is a friendly and welcoming community for anyone who wants to share fun cultural outings with lovely likeminded people. The events will be varied - think theatre, cinema, concerts, cafés. The sort of outings that are better shared with others. Surrounded by thousands of flickering candles, The Belford String Quartet will bring Edinburgh’s St. Mary’s Cathedral to life with a stunning perfomance of Hans Zimmer’s greatest cinematic scores, including Interstellar, Inception and The Lion King. A unique and magical experience according to the reviews. I’m booked and counting the days.
ARRANGEMENTS
Meeting outside: 8:30pm
Go inside: 8:45pm
Show starts: 9:30pm
Show ends: 10:30pmThey advise going in as early as possible to soak up the atmosphere, buy drinks, take photos etc. It also means we get better seats - you’re not allocated a specific seat, you just get directed to a seat in your zone when you arrive. The plan is to meet outside the front entrance at 8:30pm, then go in when the doors open. Please try to stick to this, as I think we might struggle to find each other if we go in separately.
DRESS CODE
Casual. As this is a large historic cathedral, they advise guests to dress warmly.

I have booked a ticket for ZONE C. So we can sit together, I’d suggest booking early in case this area sells out.

There are toilets and a bar available. I know, a bar in a church!
