Free to attend.
Let's take a trip to the National Portrait Gallery, located in the city centre on Queen Street. Displays at the Gallery explore different aspects of the story of Scotland and its people, told through a wealth of imagery including portraits of famous historical figures.
Along with the permanent galleries the current exhibitions include 'Alfred Buckham- Daredevil Photographer' and 'Solidarity Wins- Creative Resistance in North Edinburgh'. You can find out more information on their website: https://www.nationalgalleries.org/whats-on?what%5Bexhibition%5D=exhibition&what%5Broom%5D=room&where%5Bportrait%5D=portrait&when=on_now
We'll take in the various exhibits and appreciate the art either as a whole, smaller groups or at your own pace, there is no pressure to stick with the group the whole time. Afterwards we will reconvene and possibly go for a coffee depending on how people feel.
