Can you be a Skeptical politician? Is evidence based policy a reality or a sound bite? Lizzi talks about how she navigates the realities of politics and the demands of her skeptical beliefs. Lizzi will also argue that stupid questions and headdesk-inducing politicians are a good and necessary thing.

Lizzi came to party politics relatively late, joining the Labour party in 2014. Lizzi was elected to Lancashire County Council in 2016 and has been selected to contest Morecambe and Lunesdale parliamentary constituency. Her main political interests are health and social care.
