Sean Slater - Zombie Factoids: why won’t they just die!

No, not facts about Zombies, rather those ‘facts’ that permeate society, that somehow people still think are true (and some that might actually have some validity) yet seem to be repeated far too easily by those that really should know better.

Do we only use 10% of our brain? Are Hippos really Africa's most dangerous large animal? Do menstrual cycles really synchronise in co-habiting women? Come along and figure out the facts from the zombie facts.

Sean Slater has been the Vice-chair of Edinburgh Skeptics for several years, and despite living in Fife is prepared to brave the Queensferry Crossing when the occasion demands it.

All our events are free of charge as part of the PBH Free Fringe, but we will ask for a voluntary donation. Please note there are some steps in the venue so if you have motor difficulties, please let us know and we may be able to make other arrangements.

Additionally, attendance is free and no ticket is required. We operate on a first come first served basis. It's relatively rare that we fill up the function room, but please be aware that if things are looking busy, the earlier you get there the less chance there is of not getting in.
