Dev Edmonton JavaScript, Python & Ruby Meetup

Topics for this month are:

• Intro to the JS Runtime by Justin M.
  I’ll walk through a performance cliff running JavaScript code, and use it to explain what speculative compilation is.
• Intro to Advent of Code by Aaron Y.
  adventofcode.com is an annual series of coding puzzles that start simple and get more complicated! If 2025's aren't ready yet, I'll use the 2024 edition as a demo.

Who are we?
The YEG JavaScript, Python, and Ruby organizers are teaming up to bring back in-person meetups and talks. We aim to help explore topics in those three languages, but also web, mobile, data science, and machine learning in general.
