DevEdmonton JavaScript/Ruby/Python Meetup

Details
Topics for this month are:
- Build a real-time to-do app with Nuxt by Arash S.
- > Tired of basic to-do apps? let's build a real time todo app with authentication and a sleek TailwindCSS UI.
- Build an eCommerce app with Ruby on Rails by Forrest W.
- Using Ruby on Rails, Forrest will be demonstrating how to get started building an ecommerce website. This will cover models, views, routing, and controller concepts.
We typically have a small set of intro slides before diving into the topics around 7pm. Then, we open up the floor for networking until 9pm.
To ensure everyone feels welcomed and supported, we ask that you review our Code of Conduct.
Who are we?
The YEG JavaScript, Python, and Ruby organizers are teaming up to bring back in-person meetups and talks. We aim to help explore topics in those three languages, but also web, data science and machine learning in general.
For more information, join us on the Dev Edmonton Slack at https://devedmonton.com/#about-our-slack, and/or visit https://exchangejs.com.
Once you're on Slack, check out the #meetup-javascript, #meetup-ruby, and #meetup-edmontonpy channels to connect with like-minded folks, ask questions, and discuss your new/favourite topics.
You can also find us on Twitter at @EdmontonJS, or leave a comment below!
Sponsors, Special Thanks
The meetup is sponsored by our community champions Jobber. Thank you to Edmonton Public Library (Strathcona) for the meeting space. We especially thank the Dev Edmonton Society for their organizational, logistical, and monetary support.
We're always looking for additional help: if you or your company is interested, please get in touch on our Slack or DM the organizers on Meetup.
